    Good Friday

Of all the final words Jesus spoke from the cross, there is really just one word that is spoken directly to the church. When Jesus looked down and saw his mother Mary and the disciple John standing at the foot of the cross he is seeing his family and followers – in other words – the Church. In his message to these two people we find Jesus’ message for us today and it is a call for us to care for one another.
