Faith Church

Our response to the recent flooding

Help flood victims in the Carolinas, Pennsylvania and more

Faith Church is responding to the needs of flood victims both locally and regionally. We are partnering with Mission Central and with UMCOR* to provide buckets of cleaning supplies as our neighbors near and far start to recover from this summer’s floods.

What can you do?

The fastest and easiest way to help is to donate $50 to “fill a bucket.” Click the link below and we will find the best deals and do the shopping for you.  (You can donate a different amount if you choose.)

If you want to shop for supplies and assemble your own flood bucket, click the link below for a list of items that are needed, including specific information for each item and best prices at local stores. Buy them all or buy only some–all donations will be received gladly. Supplies can be dropped of at Faith Church.

PLEASE NOTE! This is list is UPDATED from last year; please use THIS LIST only for your shopping.

  • Pray for residents affected by flooding to be comforted in their losses, and for God’s presence to be felt by all victims in real and tangible ways.
  • Pray for first responders, for relief workers, for medical workers for strength and wisdom.
  • Pray for the Church and for our church, that we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to our neighbor.
  • Pray for Beth Snyder and Dave Blehi here at Faith Church in their coordination of our efforts.
