NEW: Contemporary Singers. Do you sing along in the car with the Christian radio stations but aren't quite sure of all the words? Do you wish you knew the songs that the Praise Team leads during 10:45 worship? Would you like to improve your singing skills? Then come join us in this new venture. Singers ages 10 through adult are invited to participate for the months of September, October and November to learn some new songs, polish up some almost-new songs, and share ideas about contemporary worship. We will provide special music at the 10:45 worship service 3 times during that period. Instrumentalists and vocalists welcome!
Beginning September 20, come to room 51 at 7:00 p.m. Let's get acquainted! Linda is my name and making music is my "game." Come make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
Fifth Quarter
After 4 quarters of Bellefonte football, students are invited to enjoy a 5th quarter at Faith Church. Students grades 6 through 12 walk over to Faith United Methodist Church for an evening of music, free nachos & cheese, free soda, snacks, games and fellowship.
After football games, we are giving students a safe and fun environment to hang out with their friends.
This season, post game activities run from 9 – 10:30 pm on September 17th, 24th, October 15th, 22nd, and Nov. 5th.
Fifth Quarter is made possible by people who volunteer, like you, and your food and monetary donations. Please sign up on the attendance clipboards in the church pews. We thank you in advance for all you do for this ministry.
Healthy Steps Small Group
On behalf of the Healthy Steps Small Group we thank those who purchased our church cookbook. We were able to donate over 1200.00 to the Food Bank.
Fall is coming way too soon for most of us and soon we will be thinking of holidays, baking and cooking. What better gift than a great cookbook full of easy, healthy recipes! Some have given the cookbooks for housewarming gifts, birthdays and as a hostess gift. So you will want to order several and have them handy as a gift that will be appreciated and remembered.
We will be placing another order due to the overwhelming response and requests for more cookbooks. Please let Gail Spotts, Pat Peters, Jean Hampton, Janet Ivicic, or the church office know how many cookbooks you wish to order. We will let you know when they arrive.
As always, thank you for your generosity as we step out in faith once again to help people that live in our community.
Volunteers Needed
We are need of volunteers to help the lead teacher in our Children’s Church during the 10:45 service. If you are interested in helping please contact LeAnn Showers at 355-0725. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
