    Leading up to Easter, we took several weeks to learn about prayer from the life and teaching of Jesus, but there are other Biblical leaders who have something to teach us about prayer. For the next three weeks we will consider what the Apostle Paul, David and Elijah each have to say about prayer. Their faith and trust in God are a great example for us to follow and how they prayed and what they taught about prayer can continue to keep our prayers and faith strong. Explore how Being Thankful, Being Real and Being Quiet can enhance our prayers, deepen our faith and strengthen our lives. Hear the Apostle Paul remind us to “give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus.”

  • Maundy Thursday – From Prayer to Action | Sermon from 4/2/2015

    Jesus didn’t just pray and teach us how to pray, he lived out his prayers with conviction and courage.  During the final days of his life, Jesus turned his prayers into loving actions of service and hospitality as he washed the disciples’ feet and hosted their Passover Meal. We remember these events and ask God for the courage and conviction to follow the example of Jesus and turn our prayers into action.
