3 Relationship Workshops
Saturday, January 25, 9-11am
In October, we unpacked the Three Relationships that Jesus modeled for us and invited us to deepen and develop in our lives: our relationship with God, the Church, and the World. At the end of January, there will be workshops offered to give practical steps to live out a few of the Rhythms of the Three Relationships. These workshops will include both learning and doing so that you feel equipped to live them out when you get home. Sign up online at bellefontefaith.com/3R or at the Connection Table.
The workshops include:
Scripture – (Led by Pastor Andy Morgan) - For our lives to be directed by the Bible we have to first understand what the Bible is and how to get the most out of reading it. Learn what the Bible is, who wrote it, what types of literary styles it contains, how we got it, and how we can get the most out of reading it on a daily basis. Bring your Bible with you!
Prayer - (Led by Pastor Kathleen Danley) - Allowing our conversations with God to overflow into everyday life is an essential part of growing closer to God. In this workshop, we will give some consideration to how and when we pray as we integrate it into our daily lives.
Accountability – (Led by Pastor David Carter) - We were never created to walk in our faith alone. An accountable relationship puts someone in our corner to encourage us to make changes in our lives that help us deepen and develop our three relationships. In this workshop, we will discuss a model for healthy accountable relationships that can be built upon with people in your life.
Identity – (Led by Pastor Terry Daugherty) Knowing who you are and who you perceive yourself to be shows itself in the ways in which you live out each and every day of your life. So, who are you? This workshop will help you discover the answer to that question.
