Garden Ministry

Our Garden Ministry brings people together to plant, tend, and harvest fresh produce that can be shared with others. Through simple acts of work and generosity, the garden becomes a place where relationships grow and practical needs are met.

    How You Can Help

You do not need gardening experience to participate. There are opportunities for many ages, schedules, and skill levels.

    Volunteers may help with:

    • Preparing and cleaning garden beds
    • Planting seeds and seedlings
    • Watering
    • Weeding and maintaining the garden
    • Harvesting produce
    • Organizing and distributing the harvest
    • Donating plants, seeds, tools, or supplies

Some jobs require only a few minutes, while others provide an opportunity to spend an afternoon serving alongside others.

    Sharing the Harvest

Everything grown in the garden has a purpose. Fresh produce is shared with individuals, families, and community organizations so that the harvest can reach people who will benefit from it. Each tomato, pepper, squash, or bundle of greens becomes a small but tangible way to care for our neighbors. The garden reminds us that God can use ordinary things—soil, seeds, time, and willing hands—to create something that blesses others.

    Join the Ministry

Whether you have years of gardening experience or have never planted anything before, there is a place for you. The Garden Ministry is a flexible, hands-on way to serve, spend time outdoors, and connect with others at Faith Church. Volunteers are especially helpful during planting, maintenance, and harvest seasons.
