Local Missions
Local Missions are opportunities for people from Faith Church to step into our community, meet practical needs, and show the love of Jesus through action.
Sometimes that means repairing a home. Sometimes it means providing a meal, helping a family, or responding when a need arises. Whatever the project, our goal is to serve with compassion, build relationships, and remind people that they are not alone.
Volunteers serve throughout the year whenever opportunities arise.
Projects may include home repairs, accessibility improvements, yard work, painting, cleanup, meal support, and other hands-on assistance for individuals and families. Some jobs require specific skills, while many simply need people who are willing to show up, work together, and care for a neighbor. Who Can Serve? There Is a Place for You!
Local Missions are not only for contractors, experienced volunteers, or people with specialized skills. You may be able to help by:
- Working on a project
- Preparing or serving food
- Donating supplies
- Organizing tools and materials
- Offering transportation
- Praying for volunteers and families
- Helping behind the scenes
Every role matters, and every person can contribute.
What to Expect Come Ready to Help and Connect
Each opportunity looks a little different, but you can expect clear instructions, support from a team leader, and the chance to serve alongside others from Faith Church. You may arrive planning to complete a project, but often the most meaningful part is the relationship that forms along the way.
