I’m Faith Church’s Director of Visitation. Sometimes getting out, seeing friends, or being part of church in the ways you once did becomes harder. That doesn’t mean your connection to your church family should disappear.
Our Visitation Ministry is really about something pretty simple: being there. Through conversation, encouragement, prayer, and time together, our team helps people know they are remembered, cared for, and still an important part of the Faith Church family.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do is show up.
A visit doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s sitting and talking for a while. Sometimes it’s listening to a story, sharing a laugh, praying together, or simply letting someone know they haven’t been forgotten. Our team visits members of our church family who may be homebound, living in a care facility, recovering, or simply finding it more difficult to stay connected in person. For me, the goal is that people continue to feel the relationships of their church family around the, even when they can’t physically be here every Sunday.
Could you be someone who shows up?
You don’t need special training or the perfect words to be part of this ministry. You need a willingness to listen, care about people, and give someone a little of your time. If you enjoy conversation, encouraging others, praying with people, or simply being present, there may be a place for you on our Visitation Team.
Know someone who could use a visit?
If you or someone in the Faith Church family would appreciate a visit, I’d love to hear from you. Let us know, and we’ll help make that connection.
