I’m Faith Church’s Director of Modern Worship. Each Sunday, our Worship Team helps lead our church in music during our 1045 modern service as we come together to worship God. But for us, it’s about more than playing songs well. It’s about creating a space where people can celebrate, participate, reflect, and ultimately encounter God through music.

Worship Is Something We Do Together
The people on stage may be leading, but worship belongs to the whole church. Our role is to help guide the room—to choose and prepare music that supports the message, encourages people to sing, and helps us respond to what God is doing in our lives.
Some Sundays are joyful and energetic. Others create space to slow down and reflect. Through all of it, we want the focus to remain on God rather than on the people on stage.
Find Your Place on the Team
Our Worship Team includes vocalists and musicians who use their gifts to help lead our modern worship services. Depending on the week, that may include vocals, guitar, bass, keys, drums, and possible other instrumentation. You don’t have to sound exactly like someone already on the team. Different musical gifts and styles make the team stronger.

Interested but Not Sure You’re Ready?
That’s okay. If you sing or play an instrument and you’re curious about the team, I’d rather have a conversation with you than have you assume you aren’t ready. We can talk about your experience, your interests, and what serving looks like. Everyone partakes in an audition where we have a conversation about if the Worship Team might be a good fit.
Come Make Music With Us
Music is one of the ways we help people turn their attention toward God each week. If you have a musical gift and would like to use it to serve others, I’d love to meet you.
